BOOMING BODIES. X.7830

It is now generally considered that a booming body is a coachbuilder's problem, that is, they must not, and need not, build booming bodies, because road vibrations, and any small vibration even transmitted by the air will cause them to boom. Most of them soon get better by running - i.e. lose their drum-like tightness.
