X4050 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Roy{Sir Henry Royce}9/W12. 6. 22 Following our recent conversation on the possibility of fitting a definite locking arrangement to straight side Dunlop rims, attached is copy of communication from the Dunlop Co. on the subject, dated 10th. inst. Will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} please show the print to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}, as this is the only one the Dunlop Co. sent. You will see that Mr. Paull, their Development Superintendent, holds very decided views on the matter. Have you any comments? Incidentally I might mention that the sale of straight side tyres is going very slowly indeed, and Conduit St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} tell me that during the last few months we have only sold six sets. | ||
