I have received your wire

I investigate Phantom Steering complaints made by Poni. We are sending by air mail weaker side steering tube spring for you to test on Phantom complained of 7D ins.

Our trouble with the rear axle was due to the failure of the thrust race G 50722 & G 50720. The balls had cut into the race and balls damaged which caused back lash in the gearing. We have been able to replace them and axle is now built up. I took the opportunity to examine the O.S. rear spring and upon dismantling the 5th leaf was found to have cracked.
