Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ------------------------------------- CHASSIS RADIATORS. RE RADIATORS BEING MADE AT OUR WORKS. ------------------------------------- I have examined the sheets submitted to me by Mr.Howie for producing half a dozen Experimental Radiators. I consider that they will meet this particular requirement, but that later, if we were ordering sheets for ourselves, a better class of material would have to be obtained. Perhaps for future requirements, we could obtain a bright rolled material which had been annealed and polished. The reason for suggesting this is that the defects would be at once noticeable, whereas if the material is received in an unpolished state, we cannot detect the flaws until after polishing. If you could obtain two or three sheets of metal like this, it would be worth while experimenting with it. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
