X7772 By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}) from Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ) C. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} OY. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/M14.5.30. X7772 P.2. L.H. Step Brackets. OY. was here yesterday, and mentioned the fact that he thought the step brackets Nos. 2and 3 aft of the dash would be more satisfactory from their point of view if they were moved back as indicated on the enclosed American print. We see no objection to this if it meets with their coachbuilders' requirements, and if you meet with no serious difficulty in locating these step brackets in the positions required. We have looked at the designs of the wings for the 2nd. L.H. P.2. and find that brackets in the positions suggested by OY. will be suitable for that car. We would therefore be glad if you would arrange to fit the brackets in the new positions. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
