Re: Alteration at Rear of Gear box to suit Double Brake
Herewith please receive G2820 showing method of fixing universal joint-fork. The scheme shown on upper half of drawing with special nuts seems bad as bolts have to be knocked back as nuts are undone.
In the lower half I have shown pulley solid with shaft & used a standard 3/8 taper bolt & nut.
I am detailing the latter scheme as I think it most in accordance with your requirements. The drawings of detail are nearly completed, so if you will kindly wire if scheme is agreeable we can get material ordered up.
