DOUBLE REAR BRAKES. X.2/B.

F.H.R's remarks re AW/SM6/L22413.

"The action of these are a wonderful improvement and the whole chassis seems quieter for the removal of the central brake.
"We tested for over-oiling, and conclude that if the oil is not too thick and the over-flow is free from mud, as in the case of our old standard brake these will keep well free from oil and mud, we removed the wheels and found the brakes very clean although terribly muddy on the outside, the drums seem soft, hope you have put in hand some forging in good tyre steel.

"Wearing and acting remarkably well".
