Typed Content: To: Mr. [REDACTED] C.E. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X579 Cricklewood, 2nd. July 1936. With regard to the blocking up of the water ways in the cylinders of the 25/30 and Bentley, it has been suggested by Mr. Cliburn that the job would be safer and easier if the stopping up were done in the cylinder head instead of the cylinder. Will you please let me know any reason why this should not be done. In the event of a mishap it would cause less scrap if the cylinder was involved than the cylinder block. G.H. Hancock.
