will call in and see you, but I thought it advisable to let you know how the matter stands and to let you have the new print to avoid wasting another week.

Hoping you are well.

Yours sincerely,

BLEED-THROUGH TEXT (FROM REVERSE OF PAGE):

Dear Mr. Turner,
For the attention of Mr. Hallam.

Re: Rubber weather excluder to door frame.

As has been shown on the present jig for which a mould has been sent to Derby. From a point of view to check it, it would be as good if the space which is allowed in the sectioning of the door frame could be increased to allow a little more freedom. If this is possible to modify the drawing and as we will be called on to make this in large quantities, it would be much simpler to produce. This would be an office copy.

What we suggest is that we have drawn a section which we enclose and suggest that before the die is made, it would be advisable to have some yards made of the exact strip required and avoid waste of material. The section should prove to be much easier to release from the door when being opened.

using this blue print of the new Draw I ... the mix of the rubber is made. It is a sample length of two or three yards that they have produced. If the new material is satisfactory, I am sure it ... your people to cover.

As you know, it is necessary for the rubber strip to distort when being fixed and this will then make a permanent job. Covered.

I have spoken to Mr. Cheeseman over the 'phone and he told me that... would be in Derby on Monday next, when it is necessary.
