THE MEETING CONTINUED AT WHICH ALL OFFICIALS MENTIONED ON PAGE I WERE PRESENT, EXCEPT SMH. AND HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} TOOK THE PLACE OF RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}

Title. Sec. L.O.F.

Speedometer Drive. 6038 G.77970. This item was agreed in Verrey Minutes.
The modification mentioned by Cy. is having the attention of By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and it will be incorporated in the 2nd Experimental chassis. It was agreed that the Experimental chassis is to be the model for the first 30 cars and will be fitted with suitable American Speedometer.

CY. STATES;
(A) Modification of Spindle 1008 turns per mile.

Change Gear and Brake. 6080 G.77720. Cy's suggestions will be provided for in the 2nd Experimental chassis, and were agreed to in the specification, as per - Whr{Mr Wheeler}2/D/20.1.30.

CY. STATES;
See Sec. 6030.
(A) Handbrake Handle moved to 13" from Dash.
Clearance from 6" Instrument Board O.K.

Rear Axle. 6120 G.77615. Passage of oil to axle. Cy. is of the opinion that the arrangement which we have on the experimental cars is a dangerous one, because the pipe is inside the gaiter, and is likely to be chafed through by rubbing on the spring clips. He stated Springfield cars carry the pipe outside the gaiter. In view of Cy's remarks, He. said a special watch would be kept during the 10,000 miles test. The question of oil for American conditions was mentioned by Cy., and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} promised to give his attention to this matter.

CY. STATES;
(A) Passage of oil to Axle.
(A-F) Wider Axle 60" track.
(N) Filling Rear Axle.
