This is an additional item, i.e. it has not previously been agreed to, and therefore was deferred for future discussion since, as explained by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} it requires further consideration. CY. STATES: (A-P). Carried under Bonnet. Starting Carburetter. 5201 E.78397. Agreed an adjustment already exists - this item is therefore provided for. CY. STATES: (Rich setting for winter use.) Flywheel & Clutch. 6009 G.78193. Agreed is on both the R.H. and L.H. chassis going 10,000 miles, but of course, not yet standardised. It is therefore a matter for Experimental Department at present. Cy. to collaborate with Experimental Department regarding breakdown test. CY. STATES: (A-P). Fabric on driven disc. Suggest comparative breakdown test. Gearbox & Act. Gear. 6030 G.77532. Cy's suggestions were agreed to: the lubricating of the Clutch Coupling from Gearbox Scheme is on 2nd L.H. Experimental Chassis. CY. STATES: (A) Needs modification to prevent excessive sideplay when in gear. Stronger centering springs. Smoother shifting. Lever position O.K. Tower needs polishing.
