Engr. Lt-Commander Matravers,
Adamant Engineering Co. Ltd.,
Dallow Road,
Luton.

Dear Commdr. Matravers,

Further to your letter of the 15th.inst., I enclose herewith blue prints of the steering Nos.3973, 5761, and 6498.

The latter one is the only one carrying a date, i.e. August 27th.1906. No.5671 was fitted to cars produced in 1905. Both of these were a ball bearing type of spherical joint. No.3973 was produced for the two cylinder car in 1904 and shows a spherical joint of bronze faces i.e., without balls. The cars to which these were fitted were erected in 1904 and sold to the public during that and the following year.

I hope this information will be of some use to you.

Wishing you a good Christmas and prosperous New Year.

Yours sincerely,
