We have stretched the main relief valve spring as instructed. We have not yet got a figure for 100°c but the normal running pressure is now between 36 and 40 lbs/sq". The idling pressure at 60°c has been raised from 10 to 12 lbs/sq".

We have to-day wired you for some replacement push-rods EB.4199 and adjusting screws. N° 5 is wearing very rapidly in the cup at the top end apparently due to ineffective hardening. The others seem to be all right.

The rocker cover gasket has shrunk nearly half an inch with the result that it now scarcely makes a joint at the ends. Either material that does not shrink or a locating lip as on the previous rocker covers, is required. Please send some replacements for this and the other engine joints.

The carburation is just a little lean on part throttle under certain conditions. The present jets are .051. We understand it was found at Derby that .054 jets overcame this trouble. Please send us a pair, also a key to fit.

Will you please send one dozen General Filter cartridges.
