re Peregrine Carburetter Air Inlet, and Crankcase Breather Connection.

Please find attached prints LeC.3183 and LeC.3187 dealing with the above.

The air silencer shown in the former print is of the anti-resonant pattern and is surmounted by a metal wool air cleaner, in which a whistle is incorporated to operate when the filtering material is choked.

We are also producing a design of air silencer based on our present production models so that the two can be compared for results.

LeC.3187 shows proposed scheme of breather connection to crankcase, in which a cast bracket carrying part of the control mechanism is utilized to make the connection to the crankchamber.
