31. EX. - PHANTOM III.

We have taken the temperatures of the Oil in the Rear Axle.

With two pints of oil, the maximum temper-ature reached, was 109°c with an Air temperature of 3°c.
With four pints of oil, a maximum temperature of 114°c with an Air temperature of 11°c.

The Car came in at noon with No 6 A side excentric sleeve minus the lug. This tappet had been noisy during the morning's run and alternatively quiet.
It finally became very noisy with the above result.
