Frankly, I do not understand why we should be worried at this stage, after using Prices' oil all these years, but it is evident either we have always had trouble without me knowing of it, or Prices' oil or the running conditions of the engine have materially changed. The foregoing position is constructive to a point. From that point it will depend upon whether Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} can recommend the adoption of other oils as alternatives. Personally, I think this is desirable. At the same time, it is well to remember that R.{Sir Henry Royce} has always been a believer in compounded oil, that is, an oil made up from a mineral oil base by the addition of a slight percentage of a vegetable oil.
