(26) Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} will issue his suggestions forthwith as to what springs we could save from scrap.
(27) Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} will let us have his recommendations for reducing the piece numbers on P.III springs.
25/30.
(1) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} and Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} to get a Packard type of damper working on this engine.
(2) CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} and Ratcliffe to continue consumption tests on 25/30.
(3) Hardy will let me have his steering report by Monday, December 7th.
(4) Ratcliffe to try small induction pipe on GAE.20.
(5) CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} to complete tests on ignition advance necessary at part throttle for maximum economy.
(6) Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} to fix up GAE.20. with low rate road springs and roll rod for tests as to what the customer is going to get out of riding in the back seats. This is urgent.
BENTLEY.
(1) Dodd will carry out the oil consumption test on 3.B.IV. with high pressure rings.
(2) Dodd will appoint somebody who will be responsible for plugs in the Garage, and will keep a complete record of all tests and be the acknowledged authority on the subject.
(3) West will let me have a weekly report on progress of plugs.
(4) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will warn By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} that we are proposing to move on altering the lubrication of Bentley bearings.
