Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} -2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.3.12.36.

P.III. (11) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} will get a direct comparison of the English and American low carbon wire on the same type of spring.

(12) Std. will let me have a promise for the Continental P.III bonnet before the next Conference.

(13) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} and Smth. will experiment with the stiff half shaft.

(14) Under bonnet temperatures. Std. will issue a report by 7/12/36.

(15) Engine side guards. Std. will complete experiments on this job.

(16) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} will concentrate on P.III gearbox noise, both gears and ball races. He will also issue recommendations to the Design Dept. if, after examining 35-EX he considers slack in the box has developed unduly.

(17) West will get out comparisons of how distributors on the P.III compare with the 25/30 and Bentley on French endurance test. Hancock to say if we have more point trouble with P.III in service than 25/30 and Bentley. Trouble expected, points are doing twice the work.

(18) Further investigation into P.III oil pump noise and pressure under tick-over conditions.

(19) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} to report on the reduced balance weights on 33-EX.

(20) Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} to work with Swindall to produce the Continental P.III exhaust. They will let me try the proposed silencer on 32-EX.

(21) Dodd and Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} will try 33-EX for various tappet clearances to obtain camshaft information.

(22) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} will instruct one salt-cooled exhaust valve in K.965 to see if this overcomes our present tappet problem.
