BY/NS{Norman Scott} c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} SD 1269 DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/G.8.11.37. Rotherham SD WRAITH 111 - MODIFIED WATER PUMP DELIVERY PIPE. Herewith please receive the following scheme :- E.CD.194 Modification to Water Pump Delivery Pipe, Wraith lll. This alteration has been made at the request of Mr. Cockshott to facilitate setting up the water pump casing for machining the snout for rubber hose. Will you please modify the detail drawings of the water pump casing and the water inlet bend to suit, also the setscrews for the bend on cylinder have been increased in length. The alteration consists of the deletion of the 4º angle in plan view of pipe and making pipe centre line parallel to engine centre line in plan. As the water pump is common to Wraith lll and Bentley lll this alteration applies to both cars. If this alteration is liable to cause delay in producing the six Wraith lll. cars it should not be introduced until further chassis are instructed. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
