VALVE STEELS.

I think the nearest and quickest way to find out the best valve steel is to test valves in an engine on the xx test bed.

I understand the steels suggested are Firth's (Nickel-Chrome-Tungsten) K.E. ditto, and present S.L.V.

If they all stand I suggest that the sections of the head be made lighter until they overheat or stretch.

Will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} get this done without delay, and so dispose of a matter that is costing money in time and thought etc.
