Replying to your memo Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Wst.1/MA.20.4.33, I assume you refer to JNR {Charles L. Jenner} 's suggestion with regard to marking the coil to prevent mistakes in connections. We think the terminal going to the distributor should be marked "DISTR", but that the other terminal, if it is marked "BAT", will be misleading, and that it would be better to use an expression indicating that the latter is connected to the ballast resistance, such as "BAL'ST".
