The above car when being driven back from the Coachbuilders to Lillie Hall was reported to have something wrong with the gears in the gearbox. N. sent the box back to LA.{L. A. Archer} who has reported that they found three teeth broken on the first gear, and puts the cause down to bad man handling. Is there any other reason for the failure which can be avoided, such as case hardening.
