Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.3/MA.28.7.33. Re. PHANTOM II STARTER MOTOR CONNECTIONS. We thoroughly agree with your suggestions in EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}16/MH.{M. Huckerby}26.7.33., regarding the fitting of odd terminals to the starter motor in order to prevent the possibility of the teazer connection being fitted to the switch terminal on the starter motor case. Obviously if the teazer wire is fitted to the switch terminal, immediately the button is pressed the main current is switched on and the motor goes into gear violently,/damaging the flywheel gear teeth irreparably Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
