I am not quite sure whether you have done, or are doing, any experimental work in this direction. I, of course, fully appreciate that the matter is difficult because the main complaint about the 20 was lack of acceleration and feeling of power, and if, therefore, we were substantially to increase the gear ratio with a view to obtaining higher maximum speeds, we should probably adversely affect the improvement in acceleration and feeling of power which we have obtained with the 20/25. I should, however, like to hear what experimental work has been done in this direction and with what results. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
