It is suggested that the second 15 mins run at 3000 rpm. should be run with the lever fully advanced, as the H.T sparking and general magneto performance in that position, and at that speed, is of considerable importance.
Also in view of the recent complaints of noise it is suggested that the following paragraph be added to this clause (No 6):-
"During this test it should be observed that the meshing of the distributor gear wheel with the pinion is correct, incorrect meshing being indicated by an uneven 'rattle' emanating from the distributor end of the magneto"
