X290 C O P Y. X290 Rapid Testing of Valve Springs. --------------------------- Na.{Mr Nadin} WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}24/T4913. Mr. Johnson considers that we ought to take samples out of each batch of valve springs that come from the Makers to put them through a rapid destructive test in order to eliminate as much as possible any bad springs going out on cars. We do not consider that the valve testing rig in the Experimental Dept. is sufficiently rapid and destructive. Will you kindly get Drawing Office to consider some other method more severe. (Sgd).
