Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephonic conversation of yesterday's date, we have pleasure in advising that a replacement Radiator Thermo-meter was forwarded last night to R.A.C. Representative, Folkestone Harbour, Folkestone, under our packing reference No.S. 91222, which we trust will arrive safely.

Upon receipt, we would ask you to make the necessary arrangements to carry out the exchange and return to these Works the alleged defective part, first attaching thereto our special reference label No.SA.386 which will accompany the goods going forward, and at the same time favour us with advice of despatch under separate cover, quoting the above reference prominently, which will enable us to connect the matter up satisfactorily at this end.

Thanking you in anticipation of your co-operation on these points, and assuring you of our desire to give assistance wherever possible.

We remain,
Yours faithfully,
p.p. S.SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.

SERVICE MANAGER.
