(4) Supply springs to check the re-bound of the rear axle.
(5) Supply a new exhaust system, the expansion box of which will conform with the size of which you are going to let us have particulars.
(6) Supply brackets to carry the instrument board in its present position, direct from the dashboard.
(7) Supply you with a set of dampers which will be adjustable.
(8) Lock up all nuts.
(9) Supply a radiator thermostat which will cause the shutters to be fully opened at 80°C.

In view of the very light weight body which you are proposing to fit we do consider that you can do with more front braking. We are therefore proposing to alter the brake system and should like to fit these parts to the car as soon as we receive it from the Coachbuilders and get you to try it. If you prefer the original system we can then revert to it.

We understand that you will let us have the chassis towards the end of June, and we hope to return it to you with the correct unit fitted about the second week in July.

It is agreed that you will supply your own petrol tank, an auxiliary oil tank if you consider this is necessary, and any auxiliary petrol supply which you may consider desirable.

We are giving K.L.G's. an opportunity to supply us with some plugs, but at the present moment we have a satisfactory Lodge plug.

We propose to run a bench test with Castrol X.L. oil at a temperature to the bearings of 100°C., and at an endurance speed of 4050 r.p.m. We shall endeavour to keep the oil consumption to a figure not exceeding 1½ pints an hour.
