B.R. 493A (40 H) (SL 42 12-7-23). J.H., D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Y9240 EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. Expl. No. 9940 REF: HEG/LG10.12.23. To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to CJ. c. to RG.{Mr Rowledge} c. to Ds. c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} BRAKES. The following tests were taken to prove what loss we were getting in friction when applying the front brakes. As shown in this report, the loss seems to be considerable. We are therefore arranging to fix up an equaliser on the bench so that we can measure more accurately the friction in this unit only and see whether it deflects. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
