E/PSN.6/HP.20.7.34.

Automatic Idling Control.

Further to E's memo E.S/HP.16.6.34, dealing with automatic chassis engine controls, we send you herewith prints of LeC's 3986,3987 and 4047 of a series of alternative schemes for automatic idling, i.e. for varying the position of the throttle stop with engine temperature, so that uniform and steady idling is obtained under all conditions without resort to the use of the hand throttle control.

We should be pleased if you would investigate the novelty of these schemes and incorporate as many as do not appear to have been covered before in a provisional patent specification, in the names of Elliott, Pearson, and Fletcher, in that order.

E/PSN.
