To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from E/PSN. 20/25 HP. Air Intake Silencer. We send you herewith a preliminary print of LeC.4043 of the air intake silencer for the 20/25. A scheme for covering the major portion of the top air chamber with felt is shown. The only portion of the surface of this chamber which is not lined with felt is that part of the circumference between the breather entry and the carburetter air intake flange. While this represents the most that can be done without undue complication we should be very pleased indeed if a satisfactory job could be made with still less of the surface covered. The portion that we should like to get rid of is that round the circumference of the silencer. E/PSN. | ||
