COMPARATIVE TESTS BETWEEN 18-EX and 73-OR.

We have today compared 18-EX with 73-OR our Phantom Standard Chassis. We found on weighing the car that 18-EX was approximately 2 cwts. lighter than 19-EX, but for comparison purposes we ballasted up to 2 tons. 7 cwts. 3qrs. 14lbs.

Weight of 18-EX without passengers, 8 gallons of petrol 2 tons. 5 cwts. 3 qrs.

1st TICKNALL. 10 - 53 m.p.h. 40 secs.

When returning from Elstree on Friday last Lidsey driving 19-EX appeared on several occasions to be able to have a slight advantage over myself driving 18-EX at speeds from 30 to 60 m.p.h.
