Bentley 80 & L.H. Senior Range
PL.196 Hot Spot Operated Choke

Sections 5070 Inlet Pipe.
" 5080 Carburetter.
" 5190 Water conns.

We send you herewith blue prints of the following drawings detailed in accordance with the above scheme:-

Section 5070 - RE. 992 - Induction Pipe.
RE. 993 - Hot Spot Cover.
RE. 994 - Hot spot lever.
RE. 996 - Clip for hot spot cover.
RE. 997 - Rivet pin for torsion spring.
RE. 998 - Pin for hot spot operation.
RE.1147 - Insulating washer.

Section 5080 - RE. 999 - Operating rod.
RE.1001 - Distance piece - choke spindle.
RE.1002 - Lever choke operation.
RE.1014 - Throttle lever.
RE.1015 - Pin spring anchorage.

Section 5190 - RE.1003 - Water return pipe.

Also experimental L.O.P. PL.196 together with marked up scheme PL.196. Please instruct as required with standard and existing parts to the above L.O.P.

We also enclose blue prints of ECD.1513 showing spring return on throttle lever. Throttle control shown on this scheme is superceded by PL.178 but spring return remains unaltered.

We have not detailed the bimetal torsion spring as this is already in hand and would refer this detail to Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /TAS. {T. Allan Swinden}

Riser indicated on scheme PL.196 is not required as this is incorporated in induction pipe. Induction Pipe RE.178 has been altered to accommodate this experiment under our alteration 169/RE.
