To WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from CJ. Copy to PN.{Mr Northey} Englebert Tyres. Mr.Muhlenkampf has for years used Rolls-Royce cars. He is interested in the Englebert Tyre Company. He showed me the samples of tyres which are enclosed herewith which he claims are as nearly non-skid as a rubber tyre can be. He has run a set on a Rolls-Royce for 5,000 miles. He explains that they do not wear flat rapidly, like the rubber Dunlop non-skid tyres do. I have promised that, if he will send us some tyres, we will run them as far as possible in the smallest possible time. His Company will later on be producing flat-sided tyres and a cord tyre which runs very sweetly. Please write to Mr.Muhlenkampf at the address given on the enclosed leaflet, saying what sizes of tyres would be most suitable for our purpose and to whom they should be addressed, CJ. Attached: Leaflet. 2 samples of tyre. | ||
