RE. ENGLEBERT TYRES.

Attached is a copy of a letter we have received from Mr. Muhlenkampf of the Englebert Tyre Co.

We imagined from your memo. CJ2/E20.5.21 that Mr. Muhlenkampf was going to supply us with a set of tyres free-of-charge and that under those conditions we would endeavour to get the tests completed as quickly as possible and let him have a full report on their behaviour. We have an arrangement with the Dunlop Company whereby they let us have tyres to run on experimental cars free of charge. The condition is, that we let them have an opportunity of inspecting the tyres when they require to and give them a full report on their behaviour.

Do you agree to us writing to Mr. Muhlenkampf and pointing out that we think under the conditions the charge they are making for the tyres is too high. If we do not get them free of charge, we ought to get 50% off at least.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
