To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From G.W.H. hotel de france, Chateauroux, FRANCE. 3.12.32. 2.PER.II. F.100254. We have received the two steel brackets. These will not be fitted, without the aluminium ones fail, as we believe the trouble was due to the damper arm fouling. This morning's run has proved the necessity of the clutch pit to have a positive pressure. No oil was collected from the rear of the engine after the fitting of the cap to catch the draught under the floorboards. We lost a quantity of water from the radiator this morning from some uncertain cause. It is very strange because it has been so consistent in keeping the level. G.W.Hancock G.W.H. | ||
