We have received your memo Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/MJ.30.11.32.

The men have been informed that they will be returning for Xmas.

The altered arrangements mean that we shall have to renew the Laissez Passer for this car for a period of 3 months. This arising through the car staying here for a longer period than was originally intended. Consequently I only took a Laissez Passer out for 40 days.

We shall hold the car up this week end, for probably two days, to fit the KAD.13 material to the clutch, and also to go over the whole brake system, which, apart from carburation, is our worst feature.

We have not as yet received the pinion and housing for the rev. counter. The design of these was in the Works, and I understood that it was practically finished before the car left Derby. We have had the rev. counter sent out here but cannot use it. Are these parts going to be sent out, or are we to bring the rev. counter back with us?

With regard to this test I took it that it is not looked upon as the usual 10,000 miles test, and therefore I do not propose, without you wish it, to send in a full report. So far the general running and all faults have been reported, which I take is what is needed. If you think otherwise will you please let me know.
