REMARKS: Oil drain has now been improved and "Perfect" oil seal is now fitted to axle box. Cases of failure of the latter have occurred.

REMARKS: Tightness in brake actuating shafts due to lack of lubrication. We think this requires improvement. Depot Sheet No. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}323 deals with brake shoe seizures.
