Dear Oy,

Can you tell me why it is General Motors' practice to have increasing main bearing diameters from the front to the rear.

We note this is on your own La{L. A. Archer} Salle shaft and on the new Buick 8, on the latter car the front bearing being 2-5/16", and the rear bearing 2-9/16".

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
