assist in keeping our cars in good running order. These will come under the heading of Category 1, as follows :-

CATEGORY 1. Such information as we would like all Officials and Depots to receive, which will be, I am sure, very useful, but will exclude such information as we do not wish to broad-cast outside, but which should be only supplied to certain chief Officials of the Company. This information will be prepared as at present by our Production Test Dept., and passed on to RP. for his approval and circulation, which will cover about 72 Officials and Depots.

Inaddition, we propose issuing more important information as per category 2, as under :-

CATEGORY 2. Shall include discoveries which have been found and which certain officials only of the Company should be advised of. Such particulars shall be prepared and issued by our Experimental Department, and they shall be allowed full discretionary powers as to whom they shall issue the valuable information which they discover from time to time. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} as a matter of fact, is now compiling useful technical information regarding the "Phantom", and he will in due course prepare technical information respecting other products.

Category 1 and 2 will therefore, I think enable us to give, not only to Officials and Depots, but if necessary, Agents, particulars which we find from time to time, and which will be beneficial in the running of our cars, without at the same time broad-casting information which we are of the opinion should only get into the hands of certain officials of the Company.

Will you please say if you agree to our proceeding in future on these lines?
