- 3 - BY.11/G.10.11.37. BENTLEY 111. (11). Four Bentley 111 are to be built, not six as previously arranged, these to be allotted :- 1 for MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} 2) To be less costly with 3) Mulliner's bodies. 4) (12). We are to order a dummy chassis from Park Wards to be sent here when finished. WRAITH. Wraith for French tests. This car is to be held back until it is similar to the car Eg. will be provided with, which is expected to be available early in the New Year. GENERAL. 15,000 Miles Test in France. Eg. raised the question as to whether the type of driving characteristic of running in France was necessarily the best for the purpose. It was suggested Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} should draw up a schedule of tests which is likely to cover the complaints we have generally received when a new car is introduced. We must build up a fund of information from experience, which will enable us to indicate a method of testing on bench or rig, which will be a safeguard against such faults recurring. Bpx. | ||
