- 2 - PHANTOM 111. (6). RADIATOR YOKE. It was agreed to leave as originally instructed. (7). LIGHTER FLEXIBLE STEEL MEMBER IN DRIVE BETWEEN ENGINE AND GEAR BOX. It is agreed we adopt this on the 1st chassis in 'D' series at a scrap cost of £21. (8). BRAKE LININGS. It was agreed to introduce the W.L. brake linings at the 31st chassis in 'D' series. (9). WRAITH SUSPENSION ON PHAN. 111. This has previously been considered for introduction at the first chassis in 'E' series; it may, however, have to be brought in earlier. This will be reconsidered in February when material would be required if above was called for on the 101st. chassis in 'D'. BENTLEY 'M' SERIES. (10). LARGE TYRES. (a). It is agreed that we use the above on 'M' series. (b). We are to issue an instruction in the form of a pamphlet to reverse the position at present outlined in the instruction book, dealing particularly with snow chains. (c). Steering. It was agreed we manufacture the parts here, and HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} is to obtain information from Vauxhall Motors in regard to the patent position and inform REC. (d). Fixed Radiator Shutters. This was agreed to. (e). Stronger axle shafts. This was agreed to. | ||
