1280 Experimental Department Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.12/AP. 23rd November 1936. Messrs John Marstons Ltd., WOLVERHAMPTON For the attention of Mr.Dunn Dear Sirs, We have received your letters of the 20th. and 21st. instant, and note the steps which you are taking to improve your oil cooler production methods. We have received a Ph.III. radiator matrix (18 X 62) which we ordered from the Harrison Radiator Corporation of U.S.A. - unfortunately it has been damaged in transit. As the matrix stands at the moment, it is quite useless - we are therefore forwarding it to you and would very much like to know whether you think you can repair same, as the delay in obtaining another one would of course be considerable. On receipt of your advice as to the practicability of repair, we will send you an official order for the work, or order a new matrix, as the case may be. Thanking you in anticipation, Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
