Complaint about loose external electrical connections on Bentley petrol pumps.

Referring to memo C.14/C.21.2.34 and the complaint of the external electrical connections coming loose on the Bentley pump, I am of the opinion that these were not firmly screwed up as they should have been in the first instance. There is no objection to the bakelite connectors being screwed up quite firmly under which condition the friction is so great that there should be no danger of them coming loose. We should be glad if Central Garage Limited could be asked if these terminals had been left loose or only lightly tightened.
