-3- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/OWH.22/AW.15.10.36. (4) Overoiling & Oil Pressure Failure. There has not been a recurrent complaint of overoiling after the fitting of the L shaped ring. In some cases the consumption of oil is still high after the fitting of the ring, but these are chiefly with cars that do little mileage. 15,000 miles test shews satisfactory results. The pressure failure was entirely due to faulty valves in the release unit. (5) Brakes. There are still complaints of inefficient brakes. The trouble is chiefly the inefficiency of the servo. (6) Springing. This complaint is generally harshness of riding in the rear. The improved ride to suit the customer is obtained by increasing the leak in the valve of the rear dampers. These complaints will still remain until the independent springing is fitted. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
