For the attention of Major C.M.Carington.

Dear Sir,

We have been running on one of our Phantom II Chassis a few of the K.L.G. type 808 sparking plugs which you recently sent to us for comparative test. We note that these plugs erode very rapidly on the magneto side of the engine and we are returning a sample plugs to you under separate cover for your examination.

We should be glad to know if you can suggest any means of overcoming this erosion, i.e. is the material of the central electrode the same as what we are obtaining on our Aero Engine Sparking Plugs.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
