Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. 81918a. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA.19.4.34. BENTLEY CHASSIS. K.L.G. PLUGS. Referring to your Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}15/T.16.4.34., we have electrically tested the four K.L.G. Plugs Type 765A and find same to be electrically OK. We note however that the gaps are on the large side and owing to the fact that the internal leakage distance in these plugs is very smaller we suspect when the gap is opened a certain amount internal sparking occurs causing the plug to In the meantime all the plugs on test should be carefully inspected for gap measurements. | ||
