[Handwritten note: 'Mechanical work' pointing to the following two items] 38 R.C. Self starter not functioning correctly. A new starter was fitted at N. Faulty starter sent to W. for examination. W. were given particulars by N. W. said trouble was due to owner not retarding ignition. 50 R.C. Dynamo. W. reported trouble was due to loose terminal on one of the various connections. [Handwritten note: 'Steps to correct taken' pointing to the following five items] 69 M.C. Platinum Points. Owner complained they were burnt out after 2,000 miles. Car was taken to W. 118 M.C. Platinum Points - burnt out after running to Scotland. Car belongs to Capt. Burt. He was driving at the time. 38 M.C. Platinum Points. Tester Wright of Works reported badly burnt - See EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/THN1/H31025. 50 M.C. Platinum Points. Cr.{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester} reported points burnt after 2,900 miles. 51 M.C. Platinum Points. Work was done at N.
