W.A. Robotham Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd,
Derby.

Dear Robotham,

I am still intrigued with the fact that you have some of your exterior steel parts chromium plated. I am doubtful as to the possibility of doing this without getting rust.

Will you send me any exterior steel parts so treated taken from stock, together with an invoice for same as I shall put them in a salt spray test, which I doubt whether they will survive.

Yours sincerely,
S B Wilks
