Knocking Shock Absorbers. 20HP. Cars.

Mr. Pilling has kindly lent us his car for experimental work on the above complaint. In the meantime, Sales have lent him one of their trials cars.

Mr. Pilling's car has been handed over to the Experimental Dept. to-day.

Owner has requested that we take every care of his coachwork, and if possible he would like his own car back in two weeks' time.

Mr. Pilling, who is Chairman of Messrs.Beyer, Peacock & Co., Locomotive Manufacturers, Gorton, Manchester, understands our present difficulty, and is quite pleased to be of any assistance he can to us. It is therefore very important that we should not trespass on his good nature more than is absolutely necessary, and that we should try and give him his car back again, with quiet shock absorbers, in the time he states.
